Power OCR Add-On (optional)

Power OCR applies the latest text recognition engine technology based on "Recognita" and "OmniPage" OCR. Compared to the standard recognition engine implemented in all of softelec's VP software products of version 11/4 or earlier, the optional Power OCR can improve on raster text recognition rates up to 100 %.
Al VP software products starting with Version 12/5 include already the latest andmost powerful OCR engine available on the market.
Power OCR also contains character recognition support for a variety of additional languages, such as Cyrillic, Greek and others which are not available in the VP software standard OCR module.

Power OCR is available as an add-on for VPHybridCAD V10, VPmap Series V3 and VPindex V3 products.

Power OCR needs to be ordered separately and will be enabled with a license code sent by email. The license code can be entered after Power OCR has been installed.

When installed and enabled Power OCR will be tied to the respective PC workstation. It is not controlled by a VP software hardlock (dongle). A Power OCR license cannot be used in "floating" mode.
