Preface: All VP software products in their latest version are ready
to run with Windows Vista. However, some of Windows Vista's characteristics need
to be considered in order to operate VP software products properly: |

1. VPLicenseManager installation mandatory When your VP software installation is completed the VPLicenseManager (VPLicenseManager.exe) must be installed afterwards. This program can be found on the VP program CD/DVD (folder: VPLicenseManager). It is also available for download from the softelec website . For the VPLicenseManager installation just follow the setup dialog instructions. Back to Top of Page 2. Hardlock module (dongle) on parallel port To run VP software with parallel hardlock modules (dongle) you must install a new Sentinel driver (Sentinel Protection Installer 7.3.0.exe). This driver can be found on the VP program CD/DVD (folder: Drivers\Sentinel). It is also available for download from the SafeNet website. For the driver's installation just follow the setup dialog instructions. Back to Top of Page 3. Online-Help Windows Vista does no longer support VP software's Help format.
